Zip Line Adventure Birthday Party

Safety is our priority. Every guest wears a professional-grade harness and helmet, double-checked by a guide before they leave the platform. Our guides are rigorously trained in course operations.  Every line, bridge, and platform is inspected daily and professionally re-certified annually. Our course was built to exceed ACCT professional building standards. 

The zip line canopy tours are designed for use by participants with average mobility and strength and who are in reasonably good health. Children must weigh 70 pounds or more.  Children under 15 years old must be accompanied on their tour by an adult. Children under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian on the present on the property, but it is not required for them to join on the tour. All participants must weigh under 270 lbs. We run parties daily, 9am to 5pm, with morning, mid-day, and afternoon slots. Many parents pick late afternoon so the party wraps around dinner. Want something more memorable? Sunset tours are available and on select nights, we run moonlight tours. Yes, really. Ziplining at night. Ask about availability on the inquiry form.

Sweet spot: 8-10 guests. For groups of 10+, we split into two separate groups.  Spectators (parents, grandparents, non-zipping siblings) are always welcome. 

Yes, provided they meet our weight requirement (70 lbs minimum). Our guides keep a closer eye on younger kids, and that’s built into how we run mixed-age parties. If your kid is right at the edge of the size limit, give us a call before booking and we’ll talk it through.

Not at all — but consider this. Kids love watching their parent or grandparent do something brave alongside them. Some of our favorite birthday photos are three generations of one family on the same zip line. So if you’re game, we’d love to have you. Bring grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends. If you’d rather watch from the ground, that’s perfectly great too. 

Honestly? This is the kid we love most. Our guides are pros at coaching nervous first-timers. Parents tell us all the time that the moment their kid finishes the first zip line is the moment everything changes. If a kid decides mid-tour they want to get down, we help them down… no shame, just genuine support. 

Tours range from about 1-2.5 hrs depending on the adventure. 

You will be 25 to 65 feet off the ground.

You will need to wear close-toed and close-heeled shoes (such as tennis shoes). For safety, please do not wear Crocs or 5-Finger footwear. Wear comfortable clothing, but please avoid loose accessories (no scarves, etc.). Long hair needs to be tied back. Women should not wear skirts. Dress for the weather. Please do not wear any dangling jewelry. Also, please remove all things from your pockets, such as cell phones and wallets. You don’t want them falling out during the tour. We do not have a secure place to store your valuables, so please leave valuables at home or locked in your car. Empower Adventures is not responsible for property lost, damaged, or stolen during your tour.

Yes, we operate in the rain. However, the zip line course will be closed if there is lightning activity in the area. Empower Adventures will also close for high winds. If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will try to contact you at the contact number you provide to us when you book your tour. If your tour is canceled due to weather, you may either reschedule or receive a rain check.

The zip line course spans over 20 acres, consisting of 5 zip lines ranging from 400 to 650 feet in length as well as a 200-foot suspension bridge! It takes around 2 hours to go through the full course.
